IMGENEX INDIA has a strong research program through in-house R&D as well as collaborations with public and private institutions. Areas of biological interest at IMGENEX INDIA include cancer, apoptosis (programmed cell death), molecular signaling pathways, cellular aging, metabolic disorder, neuro-degenerative, genetic and infectious diseases.

Nanotechnology based peptide therapy for osteoporosis. This project is jointly funded by IMGENEX INDIA and DBT under SBIRI scheme and in collaboration with Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneshwar.

Generation of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from adult somatic cells using non-genomic protein transduction method. This project is also jointly funded by IMGENEX INDIA and DBT under SBIRI scheme.

This project was carried out in collaboration with Regional Plant Resource Center, Bhubaneshwar and funded by National Medicinal Plants Boards (NMPB), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
