Dr. Sujay Singh
Dr. Sujay Singh is the founder. He has a Ph.D. in Immunology from Max-Planck Institute and Tuebingen University, Germany. Dr. Singh was Director of Cell Biology at PharMingen, which became a part of BD Biosciences in 1997. Subsequently he started Imgenex Corporation in 1997, which was later sold to Novus Biologics in 2013. Dr. Singh is also founder of Imgenex India in India. He was also a visiting scientist at Genentech. He has over 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 3 US patents.
Prof Dr. B. Ravindran
Prof Dr. B. Ravindran, CEO at IMGENEX India Pvt. Ltd, is an Emeritus Professor and former Director of Indian Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, an autonomous research institution under Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt of India. He is a Microbiologist trained in JIPMER Pondicherry and Delhi University and later in Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK and University of Connecticut Health Centre, USA. He has been an active member of a large global consortium of investigators from Universities and Research institutions in UK, USA, Germany, France, Netherlands, Malaysia and Indonesia for nearly a decade working on Immunobiology of Metazoan pathogens. He is a peer-reviewer for several scientific journals and funding agencies in India and abroad.
Dr. Gita Singh
Dr. Gita Singh has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Manchester, UK. She has worked as a scientist in biotech companies like PharMingen and Vical, Inc. She was VP of R&D at Imgenex Corporation and now is the Founder and CEO of Abeomics, Inc., San Diego.
Dr. Ashok K. Patra
Dr. Ashok K. Patra Director, Biologics Development at IMGENEX India Pvt. Ltd has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Dr. RML Avadh University, UP, India. He was working at different capacity in Ranbaxy Research Labs, Jubilant Biosys and Panacea Biotec Ltd. Dr. Patra was instrumental in developing Bioprocess in various biologic developments and technology transfer at Panacea Biotec Ltd. He has more than 15 years of experience, 10 peer reviewed papers and 2 Indian patents.
Dr. Javed Akhtar
Dr. Javed Akhtar, Chief Technical Officer at IMGENEX India Pvt. Ltd., holds a Master’s in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Life Sciences. With over 20 years of industrial experience, he leads the company’s research initiatives, focusing on the development of antibodies, diagnostic and assay kits. He has authored multiple scientific publications, secured research grants, and holds a patent.
